Frequently Asked Questions
What Should I Wear?
Because our goal is to seek God, not impress each other, we don't have any expectations about formality of dress. Some of our people will dress up, as it helps them express reverence when they come to worship God, but others prefer to dress more casually, recognizing that God's focus is on the heart. Whichever approach you choose, you'll be welcome among us.
What is the preaching style?
The pastor usually preaches a theme-based message using a powerpoint presentation to help the visual learners as well as the auditory learners.
What Bible translation do you use?
The pastor preaches out of the KJV; however, the congregation uses different versions including NKJV, ESV, NASB, HCSB, NIV, etc.
Is childcare available during service?
Yes. There is a nursery for ages 0 - 2, playtime for ages 3-4, and 'extended session' for ages 5-6. Extended session is an extension of Sunday School where kids learn more about Jesus.
What is the music like?
Our music typically consists of a blend between traditional and modern hymns, accompanied by a piano and a guitar.
